IDEAL Introduces World's First Solenoid Tester with CAT III-600V Safety Rating
SYCAMORE, IL, May 20, 2003 - IDEAL INDUSTRIES, Inc., the fastest growing company in the test and measurement market, today introduced its new Vol-Test XL, the first and only solenoid voltage tester with a UL-CAT III-600V safety rating.
Built for professional electricians and maintenance personnel, the tester enables the user to immediately detect the presence or absence of voltage before they begin working on a circuit. The Vol-Test's indicating arm provides visual indication of the voltage level while the tester's large, easy-to-read voltage indicator scale offers redundancy plus enables the electrician to determine if the voltage is AC or DC. The solenoid itself vibrates for additional warning to the presence of voltage.
