Agilent Technologies Enhances T&M Programmers Toolkit to Support Microsoft Visual Studio .NET 2003



PALO ALTO, Calif., Feb. 11, 2003 -- Agilent Technologies Inc. (NYSE: A) today announced release of the Agilent T&M (test and measurement) Programmers Toolkit version 1.1, an enhanced software suite that supports both Microsoft® Visual Studio .NET and Microsoft Visual Studio .NET 2003. Engineers using the T&M Toolkit 1.1 benefit from a simplified process to create, debug and run test and measurement control software. The T&M Toolkit 1.1 is expected to be available in May of 2003.

New features of the T&M Toolkit version 1.1 include the following:
o managed C++ support, which enables users to take advantage of the Windows® Forms support that is now available with Visual Studio .NET 2003;
o USB instrument support, which uses PC standard USB I/O to provide faster access to test instruments; and
o the latest IVI-COM instrument drivers.
