IBM XL Fortran and XL Fortran Run-Time Environment V8.1 for Linux - Refreshes Available
Overview
The IBM XL Fortran V8.1 for Linux and XL Fortran RTE V8.1 for Linux refreshes are now available.
XL Fortran V8.1 for Linux (previously called XL Fortran V8.1 for Linux on pSeries® and iSeries(TM)) and XL Fortran RTE V8.1 for Linux (previously called XL Fortran RTE V8.1 for Linux on pSeries and iSeries) now support more Linux distributions, including:
· Red Hat Enterprise Linux AS
· SuSE Linux Enterprise Server
· Turbolinux Enterprise Server powered by UnitedLinux
· Conectiva Linux Enterprise Edition powered by UnitedLinux
With this refresh, you have the flexibility to choose a supported Linux distribution that fits your needs, you also can take advantage of XL Fortran and XL Fortran RTE functions to run on a Linux-enabled iSeries or pSeries machine.
