New release boasts big gains in output speed and performance for Create!form users
Waltham, MA, May 19, 2003 - Create!form International, the J.D. Edwards' recommended and certified Interface Alliance partner for output management, today announced the release of Create!form® for J.D. Edwards® version 2.1 This new release of the company's complimentary suite of output management products for J.D. Edwards ERP systems offers significant output efficiencies in speed, file size and usability for both J.D. Edwards ERP 8.0 and OneWorld users.

The new Create!form for J.D. Edwards v2.1 release, formerly called Create!form® for JDE(TM) OneWorld®, features optimized production performance and is as much as 59 percent faster, and can reduce file size by as much as 95 percent over its predecessor, version 2.0. The improved performance is powered by a new direct-to-PostScript® option for printed output. Optimal performance is achieved using the ultra-efficient "printer pre-load function," which allows the first print job in a production run to contain all of the resources necessary for the remainder of the job. The resources are automatically stored in the printer's memory and are utilized throughout the remainder of the production process. Users opting not to employ the direct-to-PostScript option can still realize as much as a 35 percent increase in speed and up to an 82 percent reduction in file size using standard "with job" printing.
Create!form for J.D. Edwards v2.1 also includes a new Forms Library, providing new users with pre-designed forms that can be customized to include company details, such as addresses and logos, eliminating the need to design custom forms from scratch. Working with the standard output of J.D. Edwards, this time-saving form-design option can greatly reduce the time needed for a new customer to move from implementation to production. The Forms Library includes a comprehensive selection of pre-formatted documents covering many essential business functions, including human resources, accounts payable, shipping, and accounts receivable. Create!form is also planning on adding vertical-specific forms libraries to meet the needs of specialized industries such as manufacturing, financial, construction, and more.
