CA's CleverPath Portal r4.7 Simplifies Personalized Delivery of Complex Business Process Information
Integrates Portal-Oriented Content Management, Enhances Usability and Extends Support for Languages and Platforms
ISLANDIA, N.Y., Nov. 22 -- Computer Associates International, Inc. (NYSE:CA) today announced CleverPath Portal r4.7, an advanced solution for simplifying the personalized delivery of complex business process information to IT and business users. Providing out-of-the- box support for 10 languages, CleverPath Portal r4.7 is designed to ease portal implementations and optimize the distribution of information assets across the enterprise.
The Massachusetts Department of Education is using CleverPath Portal to support its web-based Virtual Education Space, which provides tools and resources to the 386 Massachusetts school districts ensuring the effectiveness of the state's public school programs.

CleverPath Portal r4.7 accelerates business processes while helping ensure conformance with content management best practices. A new content management services workplace enables content owners to easily add, review, modify and approve document-oriented content bound for the CleverPath Portal knowledge library. These pre-configured portlets provide an intuitive interface supporting customers' specific content management policies and processes.
As a result of both CA's user-centered design process and an extensive usability study, CleverPath Portal r4.7 also features a number of interface and navigation improvements that provide a more intuitive and consistent user experience.
CleverPath Portal 4.7 is available in Brazilian Portuguese, English, French, German, Italian, Korean, Japanese, Spanish, and Simplified and Traditional Chinese. It also supports the latest versions of Microsoft Windows 2003 Server, Linux on IBM mainframes and the Java Runtime Environment.
