Parity Launches Food Sales Solution

November 18, 2005, Bothell , Wash. - January 1st, 2006 Parity Corporation will launch the Parity Sales Management Suite. The suite is one in a family of Parity's new generation of food industry specific software built on Microsoft SQL technology. The Parity Enterprise and its modules are all designed specifically to deal with the complexities of the food manufacturing business that so many off-the-shelf ERP systems do not address.

The Parity Sales Management Suite is designed to streamline the food sales and distribution process. The suite's state-of-the-art visual user interface is designed for both speed of operation and ease-of-use, while still providing access to any and all information needed to close a deal. The Parity Sales Management Suite enables the coordination of sales team activities, integrates sales tasks with all related departments, and automates business processes for efficient, accurate customer service. The ability to assign limited data access, disperse enterprise operations, and set-up workflows makes it possible to configure the Parity system to specifically fit each person's role in the sales process. This cutting edge technology leads companies to new levels of efficiency and productivity within their organizations.

The Parity Sales Management Suite is built on Microsoft technology that is scalable for both single-site and multi-site enterprises. What's more, sales teams and their workflows can be coordinated across multiple locations. Orders may be initiated by various individuals working in different customer service or manufacturing locations. Products can be shipped from various warehouse locations while the billings can be centrally processed at corporate offices.

The Parity Sales Management Suite enables business processes, workflows, and tasks to be utilized company-wide for enterprises requiring both remote and collaborative order processing. Each user's role in the sales process can be as broadly or narrowly defined as necessary. Furthermore, each user's screen may also be set to show only the specific set of operations they perform. For maximum security as well as efficiency, users may be granted limited access to data. This enables a sales team to be given access only to account information and order processing capabilities for their assigned customers and not for customers assigned to other regions or sales teams. In addition, read-only permissions can be granted to specific extra information they may need to perform their job successfully. Even approved outside brokers can be granted access to select customer and product information.

Parity Corporation develops solutions for real food companies, to solve real food industry needs. The Parity Sales Management Suite is a direct reflection of this philosophy. This suite supports many food specific features including FIFO and direct lot allocation, allowances and promotions, random weight, catch weight and even-weight storage units, as well as unit-of-measure conversion. In addition to the base suite, multiple feature bundles can be purchased in order to create a customized package that meets each company's unique needs or features can be added as new needs arise. The bundle options include price list management, broker management, multi-currency, quotes, reoccurring orders, bill backs, customer product names and descriptions, delivered pricing, commodity price lists, sales management data assignments, and Parity Quality Management.

The new generation of Parity Enterprise is being designed with these goals in mind:
1. Design a flexible system, so new modules and new functionality can be implemented quickly, easily, and cost effectively.
2. Design a system that is manageable and customizable for each user and job function.
3. Design a system that supports the requirements of both large, complex companies as well as small, straightforward organizations and is successful in both types of configurations.
4. Design a system that supports communication with outside forms of data entry such as EDI or other software products.
5. Design a system that supports integration with other types of key software packages such as bar code applications and accounting systems.
