Digi Simplifies Wireless Security in Embedded Products with New NET+OS® 7.4

(March 3, 2009) - Digi International (NASDAQ: DGII) today introduced NET+OS 7.4, the latest version of its royalty free software platform for network enabled embedded system development. NET+OS 7.4 features Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS) to make security in embedded products simple to configure and easy to deploy. WPS was created by the Wi-Fi Alliance to enable easy and secure establishment of wireless networks.
WPS automatically configures the WPA and WPA2 parameters for wireless networks. Embedded developers can now easily provide WPS configuration in their wireless embedded products using any Digi embedded wireless module.
