Overview

Streamline and simplify your system deployment and migration process with IBM System Migration Assistant (SMA). The following two versions are available:

o For IBM systems only - Available for no additional charge download from IBM Web sites

o For all other systems - Available on a per-seat license basis

Three of the system-management tools were previously bundled in one offering called the Software Installation Tool Kit (SITK). SITK includes:

o System Migration Assistant (SMA)

o Software Delivery Assistant (SDA)

o Remote Deployment Manager (RDM)

SDA, SMA, and RDM are now available as stand-alone products.

This announcement covers the specific fee-based offering for non-IBM systems for the SMA software tool. SMA for IBM-only systems is still available via no additional charge download.
