OpsCenter Simplifies Small Business Operations

October, 2003

For Immediate Release

Audama Software has released The Business OpsCenter 2.0, a Windows application that serves as an integrated office communication and tracking tool for small businesses. Its features include an electronic In/Out board, text and phone messaging, a vacation calendar, and a bulletin board system.

OpsCenter users can track their coworkers' working status from a desktop status table. If a coworker is out of the office, their expected return date and time is displayed on the status table. OpsCenter can also automatically notify users of changes in their coworkers' working status.

A text-messaging feature is also available on OpsCenter. Simple text messages can be sent to individuals or entire work groups to help foster interoffice communication. Telephone messages can be sent between users on an electronic phone message notepad. All messages are sent and stored securely.

OpsCenter also features a desktop vacation calendar. Users can view the office vacation schedule and make vacation requests using an electronic request form. This provides users with a paperless vacation calendar readily accessible from their desktops.

An electronic bulletin board feature allows users to post notes to work groups. Posts can be customized to appear to specific groups of users at predetermined times.

OpsCenter runs under Windows 95/98/Me/NT4/2000/XP, and may be purchased online at www.audama.com. Prices start at $99 for a bundle of five user licenses. Per user prices decrease as larger bundles of licenses are purchased. A fully functional evaluation version of the software is also available to download from the website.

Audama Software provides a built-in setup wizard to make OpsCenter easy to install. Free email-based technical support is also available.
