SAN FRANCISCO, Nov. 7 /- Sharpcast today introduced a new service code-named "Hummingbird" which allows people to effortlessly manage documents, photos, music and videos across their computer hard drives, mobile devices and the web. Sharpcast will demonstrate Hummingbird for the first time today at the Web 2.0 conference in San Francisco. It was one of thirteen startup companies selected as a prestigious "Launchpad Innovator" from over 200 companies considered by a panel of industry veterans and thought-leaders. Hummingbird will be offered as a commercial service in early 2007, and an Alpha preview version is available now by invitation.
