Westerville, OH -- SCANALYST(TM) 2D Barcode Quality Management System became available on June 1, 2005. This important product will reduce the difficulty of implementing 2D matrix symbologies such as Data Matrix, QR and stacked symbologies such as PDF. The system will help users achieve industry standard quality levels and validate data content and formats.

The type of symbology along with the data format and error correction information is determined and displayed. The amount of error correction redundancy consumed by poor print quality is also shown. The image of the symbol as seen by the decode algorithms is displayed as well to allow for adjustments to lighting and distance.
The symbols data content is displayed in a human readable and hexadecimal format to help with data synchronization issues. This is especially important with multi-field symbols using application identifiers (AIS's). The system features powerful database capabilities, including user identified fields to make quality analysis, statistical process control (SPC), vendor certification, data synchronization and process improvement in the supply chain easy.
