Illuminator Adds LiveOEE(TM), Enhanced Connectivity, and SPC Attribute Analysis

Illuminator connects to all data sources that impact production, enabling real-time visibility to manufacturing performance and supply chain execution. Illuminator Version 9.5 extends the Key Performance Indicator (KPI) module to provide LiveOEE(TM), the first thin client platform for real-time Operational Equipment Effectiveness (OEE). LiveOEE(TM) connects to scheduling, product, control and quality systems to calculate and distribute OEE in real-time, giving actionable information to employees that manage and impact this important metric. With LiveOEE's web-centric architecture, manufacturing enterprises can easily provide OEE visibility at the equipment, line, plant and enterprise level, enabling the entire company to act from a common point of view.
Additionally, Illuminator 9.5 delivers broader connectivity adding data access to over 30 additional factory automation systems such as; Honeywell PHD, Foxboro AIM, Citect, Emerson Process Automation's DeltaV, Honeywell TDC3000, ABB ControlIT, ABB InformIT, Automsoft Rapid and other process historians. With version 9.5, Lighthammer has added OPC and OPC HDA to its family of generic connectors which includes ODBC, SQL and XML. The quality option allows the user to apply SPC/SQC analysis to data from any system that Illuminator can connect to and provide alerts on any SPC calculation allowing for real-time feedback enhancing customer service and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
