Keller Introduces Network Version of Its FMLA Management Software
Neenah, WI - J. J. Keller & Associates, Inc. has just introduced a network version of its Keller-Soft® FMLA Manager(TM), a software program that helps users manage and track leave taken under the Federal Medical Leave Act (FMLA) while accommodating federal and state requirements and company-specific leave programs.
The new network version will contain all the features of the original software, but will also allow multiple users to access a central database from their desktops and complete FMLA recording and reporting functions at the same time, without data corruption. A password feature is included for security purposes.
The program uses a series of questions to help users set leave parameters for tracking leave according to federal, state, and company-specific guidelines. It helps users determine eligibility (when leave is requested) through a similar question-answer format. Once the questions are answered, the program helps schedule and track leave taken, including intermittent leave. It also tracks the amount of time used and time remaining for those on leave.
The Keller-Soft FMLA Manager also provides guidelines for developing a leave policy; tracks leave requests; schedules insurance premiums and payment due dates; and provides reminders via e-mail of critical dates, such as dates when paperwork is due from a physician.
Users can generate FMLA forms needed to administer leave, and produce reports at the employee, department and corporate levels. In addition, the software includes explanations of key FMLA regulations and instructions.
