Designed for utilization with desktop scanners and digital copiers, Office Capture provides user-defined custom archival organization for networked storage and retrieval. The program integrates electronic capture of paper files with content indexing, producing searchable electronic files. The program features an integrated Windows display for single screen views, expansion of production indexing fields and the addition of a litigation support-style template for Bates numbering and other content endorsing (Original, Confidential, etc.) of documents as needed.
DocuLex Office Capture is an open-system, easily operated by document imaging beginners while flexible for experienced users. The program supports TWAIN-driven desktop, production and MFP scanning units.
With a setup wizard enabling a quick-start to new project scanning, Office Capture enables the complete document imaging spectrum. Simply scan all documents of interest and then enter the document meta data descriptions at a later date. Document meta data entry is easier than ever with the newly improved design focused on rapid entry to complete the task.
The final step is for the OCR engine to analyze and create full text data, then generate searchable PDF files. Custom named folder output, automatic file naming and output to Archive Studio WebSearch document management system or other DMS solutions is a viable option for file management, security and control.
