ESPOO, Finland, February 2- Nokia (NYSE:NOK), the global leader in mobility, today announced the availability of "CodeWarrior(R) Development Studio for Symbian OS" Version 3.0, supporting C/C++ development for the newly announced Symbian OS v9, the latest version of Symbian OS. Symbian OS is the leading OS for advanced mobile phones.

CodeWarrior for Symbian OS supports every stage of Symbian OS software development, from device creation to commercial aftermarket software applications from 3rd party vendors. CodeWarrior for Symbian OS is the industry's most advanced development suite for Symbian OS, providing a robust and easy-to-use integrated development environment (IDE) with comprehensive debugging support for the various device creation and application development tasks.

An exciting new addition to the Symbian OS-based portfolio of development tools from Forum Nokia, Nokia's global developer program, CodeWarrior for Symbian OS has several new features beyond support for Symbian OS v9. CodeWarrior for Symbian OS supports compilers compliant with the Application Binary Interface (ABI) for the ARM(R) Architecture, including the ARM RealView(R) RVCT compiler, adds DWARF2 debug format support, improves managing of multiple software development kits (SDKs), and introduces a new graphical tool that manages Symbian OS resources.
