BERLIN, Sept. 19 / -- O&O CleverCache V6.0 is the newest release from the workshop of the internationally successful Berlin-based software developer O&O Software. O&O CleverCache optimizes the memory and file cache management in Windows, enabling a PC or server to perform at a higher level of speed and efficiency.
The inefficient memory management in Windows causes unnecessary losses in performance on PCs and servers. Coupled with the hard disk optimization offered by O&O Defrag V8.0, O&O Software is now aggressively taking aim at the second-most-important software-based method of optimizing the performance of Windows: file cache management.
Through the intelligent adjustments of the file cache, more main memory is made available to the system, allowing for a clear increase in system performance. Using O&O AutoSense technology, O&O CleverCache V6.0 performs an analysis of all important system parameters at startup and then chooses the optimal settings for the system.
Mem-O-Free defragments the main memory, organizing short and fragmented segments of memory into a few larger ones. This decreases the response time of applications requiring large amounts of memory to operate (e.g. games). System Tuning is made possible through the user-defined prioritization of applications, a brand new feature in the new version of O&O CleverCache.
