These new releases are the first Workshare products to incorporate Hygiene technology, a simple and powerful cure for document security risks, demonstrated at DEMOfall in September 2005. Both Professional and Protect are now able to alert users to the presence of information that violates privacy, intellectual property and financial disclosure policy, and recommend the blocking of these documents. Workshare Protect 4.5 evolves the industry leading document security solution with pre-built policy settings which automatically identify and warn of risks, including leaking data that can jeopardize customer privacy such as social security and bank account numbers-all without disrupting normal workflows.

Workshare Protect 4.5 is available in three editions: Protect 4.5 for Outlook, Protect 4.5 for Notes and Protect 4.5 for GroupWise. All are US $49.95 per seat for a perpetual license with volume discounts. A 50-seat minimum is required for perpetual licenses. Protect 4.5 for Outlook will be available online for a US $29.95 annual subscription in quantities up to 50 seats. All Protect 4 customers on a current software service subscription will receive Protect 4.5 at no additional charge.

Workshare Professional 4.5 is available in three editions: Workshare Professional 4.5 for Outlook, Workshare Professional 4.5 for Notes and Workshare Professional 4.5 for GroupWise.
