Coade Updates Caesar II Pipe Stress Analysis and Design Software
HOUSTON, June 12, 2002 - COADE, Inc. has released CAESAR II Version 4.40, an updated edition of the company's popular software for pipe stress analysis and design. Enhancements in CAESAR II Version 4.40 include mandatory updates to the B31.3, B31.4, B31.8, ASME NC and ND piping codes; the addition of the B31.11 piping code; and an intelligent hydrostatic load analysis. Among the numerous other enhancements in Version 4.40 are alpha-numeric labels tied to piping model node numbers, modifications to the hanger sizing algorithm, an on-off switch for friction, and improvements to the input and output graphic display.
CAESAR II is a ready-to-use, comprehensive package that includes pipe stress analysis; API, NEMA, WRC, AISC component evaluation; component databases; automatic spring sizing; structural steel modeling; automatic underground pipe modeling; extensive material database with allowable stress data; comprehensive fiberglass piping capabilities; and API, WRC & PD 5500 nozzle flexibilities.
