From a Tiny USB Flash Drive Carried on a Keyring, EMS and Other Healthcare Providers Can Now Have Quick Access to a Patient's Emergency HealthCare Data, Including Pictures

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C., Feb. 22 -- PathWay Technology, LLC today announced a revolutionary new software product named "Just In Case" (JIC) designed to aid individuals in maintaining records of their financial, personal, and medical information. The data is stored on a small USB Flash Drive that is plugged into a person's computer only while the data is being updated. When not plugged in, the stored data is totally isolated from virus and hacker attacks. In addition, sensitive data such as social security numbers, account numbers, etc. is stored in encrypted format.

Harris F. Rogers, CEO of the company, said the primary function of the product is to provide an organized method of recording all the personal information a person should keep readily available for a friend, family member, executor, and medical workers in case of emergency. The product (JIC) includes provision for Checking Accounts, Retirement Accounts, Securities, Real Estate, Drafts, Obligations, Credit Cards, Power of Attorney, Personal Property, Wills, Medical Data, and more. A locator is included to show where important papers and documents are stored. For financial purposes, JIC can quickly print a complete Financial Statement (in banking format) without any financial knowledge required of the user.

Rogers added, "What makes this product unique is the product's ability to export a user's identity and medical data (prescriptions, immunizations, allergies, surgical history, medical conditions, etc.) to a USB Flash Drive that can then be carried by the user at all times. In an emergency, EMS and healthcare workers registered with PathWay Technology as JIC Providers can then use their side of the software to read the vital data directly from the USB, saving valuable time and possibly the user's life. For privacy, the user is the one that selects the medical and identity data they want to export and share."

Pictures of Healthcare Cards, Thumbprints, Driver's License, and an Identity Picture can be stored and exported, and plans are to include Passports, EKGs, X-rays, and other medical-related items in the future along with new software features.

Rogers, the main architect of the product, is a veteran software developer that has already achieved one nationwide software product success to his credit and has been in programming work for over 30 years.

The base price of the product is $79.95 for a single user. A two-user companion set is available, and the product is available to corporate and nonprofit partners at a price reduction.

PathWay Technology is located at 5000 Windsor Green Way, Unit 303, Myrtle Beach, SC 29579.
