Interact Incorporated Releases the Latest Version of Spot VoiceXML/CCXML Based Interpreter Set



Lincoln, Nebraska USA January 20th 2009 - Interact Incorporated, a software company renown for developing high performance communication solutions for enterprises and operators across the globe, today announced updates for both its VIP (Voice and Information Processing) Platform Software and its SPOT branded VoiceXML/CCXML based interpreter set with its latest release of software, V6.8.

With unparalleled agility and implicit redundancy, Interact's V6.8 version of SPOT - a high performance VoiceXML/CCXML based interpreter set - is single-handedly raising the standard of call flow resource interaction.

In conventional open based solutions, as voice applications become more complex or the number of call channels increase, traditional interpreters overloads the CPU. SPOT remedies this situation by using a unique architecture that virtually eliminates application load and memory penalties, thereby allowing applications to scale smoothly.

Developed for use in telco environments that handle hundreds to thousands of call channels, Interact's latest version of SPOT is one of the fastest commercially available VoiceXML/CCXML based interpreters. Standard testing for the platform-independent SPOT VoiceXML/CCXML based interpreter set begins at 1,000 channels per dual processor host. This is significantly higher than the majority of solutions on the market (at ~100 channels/host).

In today's evolving market, as SIP-based application servers begin to replace traditional PSTN-based services, Interact's latest version of SPOT VoiceXML/CCXML based interpreter allows SIP providers to deploy next-generation services architecture using VoIP-based technologies.
