Informative Graphics' Delivers CADManager Support In New Version Of Brava!® For Open Text's Livelink®

PHOENIX, Arizona November 5, 2003 - Informative Graphics Corporation (IGC), a leader in Web-document and collaboration technology, announced today that a new release of its Brava!® for Livelink® (version 4.1) integration supports Open Text's Livelink CADManager solution, which Open Text(TM) introduced last month. The new release of Brava will be demonstrated for the first time at Open Text's LiveLinkUp Orlando 2003, Open Text's annual users' conference underway this week, November 3-6. Informative Graphics is an Open Text Global Alliance Partner.

Open Text's ECM suite, Livelink, provides tightly integrated services that deliver true dynamic collaboration and knowledge sharing between individuals, teams, and organizations. Livelink CADManager allows AutoCAD users to interact with Livelink's document repository from within the AutoCAD application. Brava for Livelink with CADManager support furnishes seamless communication with the Livelink CADManager structure as it interprets AutoCAD drawing file relationships in Livelink, keeping track of accompanying files known to AutoCAD users as X-Refs (external reference files). Livelink CADManager support in Brava means document status will be accurately represented when downstream users access AutoCAD drawings from Livelink through Brava.

The new Brava also supports IGC's Visual Rights(TM) persistent security framework, which the company plans to introduce to the Livelink integration. Visual Rights technology can be layered into existing digital rights management and document management security strategies. "Brava with CADManager support extends the benefits of Livelink CADManager to a much larger user community by making engineering data available to enterprise users who do not have AutoCAD," said Chris Vassalotti, AEC Business Development Manager at Open Text. "Drawings can now be reviewed in their native format by individuals outside of the engineering departments."

"Livelink CADManager is an important enhancement for companies using Livelink that have CAD drawings as a staple document-type," said Gary Heath, CEO at IGC. "Brava for Livelink is already a cost-effective and powerful application for sharing documents in an enterprise, and supporting CADManager advances our position as a valuable Open Text partner," he added.
