Overview

WebSphere® MQ Workflow V3.6 expands support for enterprise workflow integration solutions and robust Business Process Management implementations, on z/OS® and distributed platforms. This new release delivers on a number of common functional requirements that simplify the management of large implementations, and provides longer-term vitality and support for growing production implementations.

An On Demand Business is an enterprise whose business processes - integrated end-to-end across the company and with key partners, suppliers, and customers - can respond with speed to any customer demand, market opportunity, or external threat. WebSphere MQ Workflow specializes in the transactional automation of long-running business process workflows as they interact with systems and people, supporting a wide range of front-end access and back-end application systems and leveraging open standards.

WebSphere MQ Workflow operates independently, automating processes that can interact with any external application program, systems, and people in IT, and organization infrastructures supporting a range of open standards. The architecture of WebSphere MQ Workflow natively exploits WebSphere MQ-based infrastructures, providing a natural fit for highly flexible streamlined processes that can be monitored in realtime.
