Overview
Access to service management data has never been easier with the new IBM Tivoli® Web Access for Information Management V1.2. Its ubiquitous browser-based interface to IBM Tivoli Information Management for z/OS® provides a more powerful, easier-to-use facility to manage daily service management activity. Adding to the extensive functional capabilities of IBM Tivoli Information Management for z/OS and IBM Tivoli Web Access for Information Management V1.1, the new version of Tivoli Web Access for Information Management now offers out-of-the-box business logic and data views for Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL)-based processes for Incident, Problem, Service Request, and Change Management. These out-of-the-box provisions help to get you going quickly. The Web Access toolbox has been significantly enhanced and includes:
· Improved ability to migrate IBM Tivoli Information Management for z/OS-based 3270 panels and business logic into the Web Access environment
· New and improved TSXs (Terminal Simulator Exec) to build and manipulate your Data Model
· More powerful HTML generation capabilities that take advantage of the Data Model and control parameters to generate HTML
· Enhanced knowledge-based search capability, offering configuration flexibility to help meet the needs of a wide range of users
