Compuware Introduces Business Service Management Solution



DETROIT, May 15 -- Compuware Corporation (NASDAQ:CPWR) today announced the introduction of Vantage Service Manager, a business service management solution that enables organizations to optimize IT service delivery in accordance with business needs. Vantage Service Manager, based on Compuware's recent acquisition of Proxima Technology's Centauri Business Service Manager, has been fully integrated into the Compuware Vantage product line and enhanced to further meet customers' needs.

Despite a significant investment in application and infrastructure management tools as well as service desk software, IT leadership and their line-of-business counterparts often lack effective means to align IT service delivery with business objectives. Vantage Service Manager directly addresses this by associating business services to the supporting application infrastructure.
