techMatrix Launches the WeldWorks(TM) Software Suite

techMatrix, LLC of Minneapolis, MN today announced the release of its WeldWorks(TM) Software Suite designed to work with their RSX Series automated weld platform or with stand-alone weld controllers. The software suite enables manufacturers to achieve Six Sigma quality initiatives and control their resistance spot weld process by automatically monitoring every weld's key process parameters (i.e. force, current, displacement, etc.) and track this information against individual parts or lots. This makes conducting DOE's and creating SPC charts a simple task.

The software architecture is built on leading Microsoft .NET technologies and consists of four modules that provide a complete end-to-end RSW solution. The Windows® client application controls the welder and collects data. The WeldWorks(TM) web services provide extensible middleware to store and retrieve information anywhere on the internet. While the Microsoft SQL Server database stores weld recipes and all runtime electronic records which help ensure compliance with FDA, ISO 9001, and military regulations. Finally, weld recipes can be edited and information can be queried using an ordinary browser and the WeldWorks(TM) web interface.
