Inference Data Enhances Electronic Discovery Analytics Capabilities

First analytics software to offer unlimited scalability via an intuitive, user-driven analysis and review platform.

LYNBROOK, N.Y., June 18 // -- Inference Data today announced the latest version of its electronic discovery analytics and review platform. Inference version 3.3 includes new email tracing, auditing, and native file features that enhance e-discovery process management. Introduced in early 2006, the Inference web-based system is the first analytics software offering unlimited scalability to analyze, categorize, and prioritize electronic documents and communications across the entire discovery database. By giving attorneys the ability to quickly search and identify key pieces of information, Inference accelerates the electronic discovery process for early risk assessment, meet and confer preparation, review and production.

Inference's newest enhancements continue to build upon its fundamental strength as a powerful e-discovery tool for attorneys. The latest features include:

Email Trace -- Visual analysis of email conversation patterns, enabling
attorneys to select a document set and analyze who was involved in
discussions of a particular topic, who sent what documents to whom, and
see the density of communications between parties.

Native File Launch -- Automatically launches files in the programs in
which they were created, allowing reviewers to analyze documents and
their underlying structures in formats such as Excel and PowerPoint.

Audit Reporting -- Directly addresses chain of custody administration by
creating a defensible map of the e-discovery review process, and assists
in managing review workflow. Reports detail every action taken by
Inference users with a complete history of activity on each document or
data set.

"With the increasing demands of electronic discovery, attorneys need an easy-to-use system that delivers high-powered searching and analytics to their desktops," said Inference President Nick Croce. "Inference leads the industry in scalability and the dynamic nature of its searching, categorization, and prioritization. It directly addresses the mounting e-discovery pressures law firms and corporations are facing with rapidly expanding volumes of electronic information and the new federally mandated electronic discovery procedures and deadlines."

Inference 3.3 is available immediately. Inference will demonstrate the system's new features June 20-21 at Legal Tech West Coast, booth #131, at the Los Angeles Convention Center.
