Release of NetBiter® webSCADA Design Kit - To Customize Web Servers

The NetBiter® webSCADA Design Kit is a tool to be used together with the standard webSCADA product to make custom designed web pages. The kit is primarily designed to give a user the ability to create own flowchart and data presentation pages on top of the existing webSCADA web pages. This way, a system integrator can design a front-end with own logos and touch, but still keep the existing NetBiter webSCADA configuration system to simplify configuration of alarm and data logging.

The webSCADA Design Kit is based on a JAVA applets system to access data inside the webSCADA hardware. All parameter presentation and monitoring is done using Java applets. These Java applets communicate with the database server in the NetBiter® to read/write parameter data. The Java applets and communication method used between the applets and the NetBiter is part of the webSCADA Design Kit. The standard webSCADA product only contains a subset of the Java applets available for the NetBiter®, but the the webSCADA Design Kit includes a number of additional applets that can be used for custom flowcharts. Each JAVA applets has several properties depending on what the purpose is with the JAVA applet. Such properties include for example Modbus Slave, Modbus address, font size, text color, background color, delay, scaling, bitshift, bitmask, default value, button color etc.

The NetBiter® webSCADA Design Kit includes:
A set of JAVA applets to access Modbus data etc
Documentation
The right to remove the NetBiter® brand from the web pages
To manage the NetBiter® webSCADA Design Kit it is required to have knowledge of the standard NetBiter® webSCADA product, web and HTML.
