Syngence Corporation Launches Near-Duplicate Solution, SynthetixND(TM)

DALLAS and SEATTLE, Feb. 4 / / -- Syngence Corporation, an industry leader in e-discovery and content analytics solutions today announced the launch of SynthetixND(TM), the company's near-duplicate detection and management software, available through leading service bureaus and for use by law firms and corporate legal departments as a licensed application.

SynthetixND identifies and groups near duplicates -- documents that are similar, but not necessarily identical -- that typically exist in large numbers within data collections.

SynthetixND leverages the power of Syngence's proprietary linguistic pattern-matching technology, giving customers improved review quality while significantly reducing review time, resulting in immediate cost savings.

According to Syngence Chief Executive Officer Randall Miles, SynthetixND provides a much-needed solution for law firms and corporations faced with large and growing volumes of e-discovery data.

"We developed SynthetixND in response to customer demand for a scaleable, enterprise-class, near-duplicate management solution," said Miles. "The release of SynthetixND is an important part of our strategy to create applications that meet the growing needs of law firms and corporations for solutions that provide fast, reliable and cost-effective management of large volumes of data.

"We worked closely with our customers and partners while designing SynthetixND to ensure it will solve real-world problems -- an approach that sets SynthetixND apart from other solutions on the market," Miles continued. "SynthetixND is integrated into SPS(TM) -- the Synthetix Processing Suite -- adding the power of page-level Synthetix search and navigation to SynthetixND's document-level analysis, bringing a new level of precision and efficiency to the document review process."

Miles noted: "Adding breadth to our products through the release of SynthetixND is in keeping with our objective to offer strategic solutions to the market, which in turn allows us to continually expand our install base."

"We are very excited to include SynthetixND in our suite of products and we expect the product to be embraced by service bureaus, law firms and enterprise legal departments," he said.

SynthetixND offers 64-bit processing power which, combined with the ability to isolate the defining attributes of a document, provides increased speed and document throughput. SynthetixND outputs are standard fielded data, viewable through virtually any case management software, a feature some near-duplicate solutions do not offer. SynthetixND features easy installation, backed by superior customer support, allowing service bureaus or law firms to be up and running quickly.

SynthetixND is available today through Syngence's authorized service bureau partners, and can be licensed for onsite document management by law firms, corporate legal departments and government agencies later this month.
