Strohl Systems Releases Incident Manager 3.0

KING OF PRUSSIA, Pa., Sept. 18 /-Strohl Systems has announced the release of Incident Manager 3.0, powered by WebEOC. Strohl Systems, the industry leader in Business Continuity Planning software and services, and ESi, the leader for Emergency Management Systems have teamed up to develop Incident Manager(R), powered by WebEOC(R). Countless organizations all over the world have used both companies' products to help them plan for and recover from any type of disruption they encounter. The new Incident Manager combines the power of Strohl's business continuity and crisis management experience with the functionality and ease of use of ESi's WebEOC product.

Incident Manager uses a proven methodology focusing on three key areas; life safety, impact assessment and recovery and restoration. The program utilizes a series of screens called "boards" to track and resolve issues as they arise, allowing information traditionally collected via white boards or sticky notes to be collected and organized in an electronic format. Information utilized in these boards can be updated and tracked by crisis team members working in the same or remote locations.

"The new Incident Manager takes a different approach from previous versions of the product," said Brian Turley, President of Strohl Systems. "It is truly a command center automation program versus a task-tracking utility."

Incident Manager 3.0 combines the power of Strohl's business continuity and crisis management experience with the functionality and ease of use of ESi's WebEOC product. It integrates with Strohl's planning software, LDRPS, and has built in connections to Strohl' emergency notification service, NotiFind.

Additional new features include:
-- MapTac(TM) - A unique tool that enables users to publish a map or photo and place markers, shapes and labels on the map, as well as share the map with others;
-- Status Boards - Incident Manager 3.0 comes ready with numerous status boards that cover life safety issues, impact assessments, and recovery and restoration;
-- Simulator - The ability to build, edit and control the delivery of scenario data to user screens in real-time in order to test response;
-- Chat - An informal communication system built inside Incident Manager; and
-- Messages - Allows users to communicate with each other via an internal messaging system.

"In addition to all of the new features, we focused on developing a product with a built-in, flexible incident command methodology and customized boards that can be used right out of the box," said Turley. "This will enable users to build a virtual command center and incident response program, track resources and issues and completely and effectively manage disruptions in an efficient manner."
