CyberShift Announces New Version of Workforce Management 3G(TM)



Latest Version of Web-based Solution Features Configuration Wizard, New Absence Management Module -

LAS VEGAS, June 25 -- THE SOCIETY FOR HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT'S 59TH ANNUAL CONFERENCE AND EXPOSITION -- CyberShift, a leading provider of global workforce and expense management software and services, today announced details of the newest version of its feature-rich, enterprise- class workforce management solution, Workforce Management 3G(TM) version 5.3. This latest version of the company's field-proven solution features a Configuration Wizard to dramatically reduce implementation times for certain client segments, an updated Accrual Calculation and Forecasting module, an enhanced Absence Management capability, Interactive Voice Response integration through Web services, support for the BlackBerry(R) wireless platform as a mobile access method and expanded audit features, all of which further enable global employers to maximize workforce performance and take control where it matters most: labor and expense management.

CyberShift's Workforce Management 3G version 5.3 continues to leverage CyberShift's state-of-the-art Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) to provide maximum flexibility to address the unique requirements of each organization without the need for extensive customization. By establishing enterprise and departmental parameters and boundaries, managers are able to focus their attention on just those data exceptions that are in violation of established rules. Through the 100 percent rules automation, compliance issues are reduced because the software itself consistently enacts the rules that manage compliance requirements throughout the enterprise.

CyberShift's latest Workforce Management 3G solution takes rules management to a new level by dramatically reducing pay and work rule complexities through parameter definition. Some of the new features in CyberShift's Workforce Management 3G version 5.3 include:

-- CyberShift Configuration Wizard (CCW) - designed for the workforce management administrator or project manager, the CCW is an online configuration tool intended to dramatically reduce implementation time and cost for certain types of organizations.
-- Accrual Calculation and Forecasting - provides automated compliance to accrual policies and calculation of accrual amounts, deposits, withdrawals, grants, usage and balances. Provides the ability to forecast availability in the future, even with complex accrual policies.
-- Absence Management - provides a method for tracking and managing absenteeism according to organizational policies. The system will track deviations from planned attendance, including such activities as late arrivals, early departures or not working on a scheduled day. The system can then manage such actions as verbal and written warnings, last chance agreements and suspensions or terminations. Disciplinary thresholds can be established with email notifications being sent to the employee's manager when a point threshold has been reached.
-- BlackBerry Support - essential elements of the CyberShift workforce management solution, including time capture, employee self-service, labor distribution and management approvals, are now accessible by mobile or remote employees in real-time using their BlackBerry devices.
-- Interactive Voice Response (IVR) - the 5.3 release enhances the flexibility and integration options for the incorporation of third party IVR platforms via Web services.
