MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. - March 2, 2004 - VERITAS Software Corporation (Nasdaq: VRTS), the leading storage software provider, today announced that Java 2 Platform Enterprise Edition-based applications can now be migrated from development into production faster with the new adaptive instrumentation capabilities of VERITAS Indepth(TM) for J2EE software.
VERITAS Indepth for J2EE - Adaptive Instrumentation software is expected to dramatically reduce the time it takes to isolate J2EE application performance problems, from weeks to just minutes, since it is the first software to automatically provide an in-depth way to isolate J2EE performance bottlenecks automatically without adding system "overhead" that itself becomes another performance issue.
VERITAS Indepth for J2EE - Adaptive Instrumentation software saves time and resources by automating the complicated and time-consuming task of having experienced application engineers manually configure the key components of the application monitoring tool. In addition, adaptive instrumentation helps production groups rapidly isolate application problems for development teams, allowing developers to focus on correcting miscoding rather than searching for problems.
