Compressus Launches OEM Version of the Systems Management Dashboard at SIIM Meeting
PROVIDENCE, R.I., June 7 /-- Compressus Inc., makers of the MEDxConnect(TM) technology for seamless connectivity and interoperability between diagnostic acquisition devices, PACS, HIS, RIS, and related information systems, today announced the company will showcase a new stand- alone version of the Systems Management Dashboard (SMD) that can run on virtually any system, at the Society for Imaging Informatics in Medicine (SIIM) 2007 Annual Meeting, June 7-10, 2007.
The Systems Management Dashboard enables the proactive management of an efficient Healthcare Enterprise through innovative software that provides enterprise wide monitoring, analysis, summarized graphic and tabular viewing, detailed data and alarm notices for Medical Imaging activities. It shows administrators fast, easy to assimilate problem solving data for management of the enterprise.
"In order to achieve high efficiency, a Healthcare Enterprise must be able to monitor the workflow and one of the biggest challenges is to find inefficiencies or bottlenecks in order to correct them," said Janine Broda, vice president and general manager for Compressus' MEDxConnect Medical Solutions Division. "The dilemma is to compile and show the information in a manner that allows the customer to gauge workflow and identify the problems. If an administrator has to look at hundreds of screen log pages on a monitor or hundreds of hard copy log pages, it is difficult, if not impossible, to accurately examine and assimilate the data."
The SMD provides the needed overview in monitoring Enterprise activities and assists in identifying inefficiencies or bottlenecks. A powerful tool that makes it quick and easy for an administrator to view and assimilate the information in order to analyze workflow efficiency and make the appropriate changes, the SMD also provides alarms for customer set performance thresholds. The stand-alone OEM SMD utilizes an API to interface OEM customer's servers and includes a developer's toolkit and OEM documentation that permits customers to quickly and easily interface the SMD. This will permit medical systems suppliers to offer enterprise efficient monitoring and alarms using their own servers and databases.
The SMD is part of the Compressus' MEDxConnect Enterprise Systems Integration solution, provides seamless connectivity and interoperability between diagnostic acquisition devices, PACS, HIS, RIS, and their related information systems across the Enterprise. The integrated imaging and data management solution from Compressus is designed to support a facility's current and expanded workload and provide an infrastructure for sustained growth.
