Overview
IBM Tivoli® Storage Resource Manager is a premier Java(TM) and Web-based solution that can help you identify, evaluate, monitor, and predict your storage usage. Tivoli Storage Resource Manager supports today's complex heterogeneous environment, including Direct Access Storage (DAS), Network Attached Storage (NAS), and Storage Area Network (SAN), and includes comprehensive reporting, enterprise wide monitoring, database support, chargeback, and alerts. And because it is policy-based, through its autonomic self-healing capabilities, it can detect potential problems and automatically make adjustments based on the policies and actions you have established, including automated capacity provisioning.
The product suite includes IBM Tivoli Storage Resource Manager, IBM Tivoli Storage Resource Manager for Databases, IBM Tivoli Storage Resource Manager for Chargeback, and IBM Tivoli Storage Resource Manager Express Edition.
In V1.3, the following enhancements are available:
