Instantiations Launches New Versions of CodePro AnalytiX Server and WindowTester Pro
Demos Swing Designer integration in a pre-release version of CodeGear's JBuilder 2008
SANTA CLARA, Calif., March. 17 / / - EclipseCon 2008 - Instantiations, Inc., a leading provider of software quality and productivity solutions, today announced a significantly enhanced version of CodePro AnalytiX Server, GEF support for WindowTester Pro, and a new relationship with CodeGear to integrate Swing Designer into JBuilder 2008.

CodePro AnalytiX Server also provides development managers with a web-based dashboard to see quality trends in their software quickly. Trends such as the number of audit violations found, lines of code written, and amount of code covered by JUnit testing are reported over a selected range of time for both the whole team and individual developers.

CodePro AnalytiX Server is available immediately. Pricing is based on the size of the development team. Pricing starts at $6,395 for a configuration that supports a team of five and includes one copy of CodePro AnalytiX desktop edition for creating and editing the server-run analytics.
WindowTester Pro
WindowTester Pro is the leading tool for automating the testing of Swing and SWT graphical user interfaces (GUI). WindowTester Pro v3.0 adds direct testing of GUIs based on the popular Eclipse Graphical Editing Framework (GEF). GEF is an open source framework dedicated to providing a rich, consistent graphical editing environment for applications built using Eclipse technology. WindowTester Pro v3.0 is the only tool that allows developers to easily record and playback tests using GEF. WindowTester Pro with GEF support is also available immediately and ranges in price from $499 to $799.

New CodeGear Relationship
Instantiations has teamed with CodeGear, a leader in developer tools, to integrate Swing Designer, a popular member of the WindowBuilder-family, into JBuilder 2008. CodeGear will provide Swing Designer visual layout tools as an integrated feature of its popular JBuilder Java IDE when it becomes generally available in the first half of 2008.
Using JBuilder 2008 Java developers will be able to construct sophisticated, reliable Swing-based GUIs easily that enhance the user experience for enterprise applications. The integration will give JBuilder developers complete control over how they develop their GUI code using Swing Designer's bi-directional code generation, round-trip editing capabilities, and comprehensive support for Swing layouts, controls, containers, and other capabilities.
Instantiations will demonstrate the Swing Designer integration in a pre-release version of JBuilder 2008 at booth 100 during EclipseCon.
