Overview

WebSphere® MQ Workflow V3.5 provides advanced transactional human workflow for WebSphere Business Integration that supports business process management (BPM) and business performance management initiatives. It includes new functions that support growing production implementations.

The workflow portal client extends its current support by adding workflow process monitoring.

The new expandable, pluggable framework for program execution simplifies the reuse of task implementations regardless of the message format or invocation protocol.

New functions for production-level implementations include:

· The ability to search, sort, and audit processes for a common set of business variables defined as global data containers independent of the process template

· The ability to query automatic unattended activity instances of a process

· Support for contextual online help in the Web client, leveraging Internet connections to IBM eSupport resources

WebSphere MQ Workflow V3.5 is available stand-alone or as an integral part of WebSphere Business Integration Server and is fully supported with WebSphere Business Integration Modeler and Monitor V4.

You can analyze and design business processes by applying key performance indicators to monitor the use of distributed resources by WebSphere MQ Workflow processes in real time.
