Proforma Expands ProServer with Model Warehouse and WebVision Products
SOUTHFIELD, Mich., Jan. 17 -- Proforma Corp., the established leader in business process improvement, simulation and enterprise architecture, announced it has expanded ProServer, the market's only web server-centric enterprise modeling solution, to include a powerful model warehouse and a web-based model collaboration tool. These features further strengthen the ProVision modeling suite and enable organizations to deliver optimal results by documenting strategy, processes and systems, and analyzing the impact of change.
The new ProServer Model Warehouse feature is an advanced tool for reporting and logging intellectual capital. ProServer, which was launched in 2004, is a web-based server application that allows business and systems analysts to manage, update and communicate models across a wide-area network, enabling globally-distributed teams to work together under a common, model- based view of their enterprise.
Organizations can now publish ProServer repository contents to a Model Warehouse relational database, which is in turn available to anyone in the organization to perform query reporting and analysis of their strategy, processes and systems -- all over the internet. This can be accomplished using any reporting tool that can connect to a relational database, such as Crystal Reports or MS Access.
