Fremont, CA - March 27, 2006 - Right Hemisphere®, the leading provider of Product Graphics Management (PGM) software, today announced the next-generation release of its Deep Exploration(TM) client software. A powerful standalone or companion application to the company's Deep Server(TM) enterprise PGM software, Deep Exploration 4.0 is available immediately in two versions: Standard Edition and CAD Edition. Today Right Hemisphere also announced the availability of its two new software plug-ins for Deep Exploration CAD Edition and Adobe® Acrobat® 3D, called the Right Hemisphere PMI Module(TM) and the Right Hemisphere PDF Publishing Module(TM). These plug-ins provide added functionality for 3D collaboration among suppliers and employees, and 3D PDF publishing.
Deep Exploration CAD Edition transforms CAD models into lightweight product graphics; authors a full range of 2D and 3D product graphics; publishes finished graphics and documents; and augments high volume, 2D and 3D graphics processes. Some of the key new features in Deep Exploration CAD Edition include the ability to:
o Translate, author, and publish product graphics more productively using new multiple view port configurations, flexible toolbars, and a number of user interface enhancements
o Communicate interactive assembly and disassembly procedures more quickly using "steps" and "model views"
o Create more photorealism with new advanced lighting, UV mapping, shadows, and materials palette extensions
o Automate callout creation within illustrations using new callout style, label, placement, color, and size controls
o Further reduce graphics file sizes, data transfer, and real-time performance using new object instancing capability
o More flexibly blend automated and manual steps within high volume 2D and 3D graphics publishing processes when used in conjunction with Right Hemisphere's Deep Server enterprise software
In addition to these and dozens more new features, Deep Exploration CAD Edition packages many of the company's previously separate desktop modules such as the CADTools, Illustration and CoreCAD Modules in one convenient, tightly integrated, and aggressively priced PGM desktop application.
Deep Exploration Standard Edition is designed for the digital content creation professional whose 3D image and animation authoring does not involve CAD sourced data. Deep Exploration Standard Edition also contains a number of the new features mentioned above including the multiple view ports, steps, model views, advanced materials, and more.

The new Deep Exploration Standard Edition is $149 U.S. Deep Exploration CAD Edition is $1,495 U.S. Special introductory upgrade pricing is available for existing Deep Exploration 3.5 owners.
