Invizeon Announces the Release of CHAIN(TM) 5.0
MISSOULA, Mont., April 4 / -- Invizeon Corporation announced today the immediate availability of CHAIN(TM) 5.0, the latest version of its emergency communication and critical event management system.
CHAIN 5.0 is the latest major release of the successful CHAIN communications product, designed to provide government agencies and non-government organizations with the most reliable, redundant and cost-effective solution for emergency communications and critical event management. CHAIN is deployed in several government organizations, the DoD, and international security groups.
This latest release represents a significant set of improvements and capabilities. Chief among these is the Common Alert Protocol (CAP) Application Program Interface (API). CHAIN's CAP API provides a simple and standardized format for securely initiating alerts and warnings over IP-based networks using the nationally accepted CAP standard.
The CAP interface allows CHAIN to receive automated inputs from an external system, such as a sensor or surveillance system. CHAIN then uses an organization's stored business rules to deliver an alert to a pre-defined group with or without human intervention based on pre-defined algorithms, data points, or compliance flags. This extends the ability of CHAIN to connect to and exchange data with any device, sensor, or system (e.g., 911 Computer Aided Dispatch systems, Marine NOC Alarms, Weather Information systems, chemical, biological, radiological, or nuclear (CBRN) sensors, etc.). By expanding CHAIN's capability to allow for acceptance of machine-generated alerts, clients are able to more readily utilize key data and business rules from existing systems and act upon that data using those rules in a timely way.
Another important enhancement of CHAIN 5.0 includes the introduction of templates to the communication menu. Templates allow users to create a library of pre-defined alerts, digitally operationalizing organizations' Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). Critical system and sensor data or response plans, maps, etc can be attached for dissemination to designated recipients freeing up important administrative resources and time and providing you with the assurance that the right people are receiving and responding to critical data in an expedited manner.
The Collaboration Suite of CHAIN has also been enhanced. Users will now be able to view and share documents, calendars and links within groups and for personal use. Secure discussion forums for online discussions and group defined real-time chat capabilities have also been added.
