ComponentOne Chart for .NET and True DBGrid for .NET have been updated with unique designers and wizards allowing developers to visually access complex functionality and quickly integrate the features into applications. The new designers reduce the time needed to learn component object models and allow developers to focus on application development, putting the power of the components at their fingertips.
Leveraging the Unique New Features
Studio Enterprise tools include integration with new Visual Studio 2005 Windows Forms features including Smart Tags, Snap Lines, data binding, GDI+ text, and Managed Themes. The new .NET Framework 2.0 Web Forms components fully support ASP.NET 2.0 features including Smart Tags, data binding, resourced-based scripts and images, and ASP.NET 2.0 Themes.
Extending the Power of Microsoft Visual Studio 2005
New products engineered exclusively for the .NET Framework 2.0 have been added to Studio Enterprise, extending the power of Visual Studio 2005 by providing developers with unique features and functionality not available with the in-the-box tools. New products include:
ComponentOne ADO.NET DataExtender(TM): an extension for ADO.NET 2.0 that simplifies data modeling and programming for Windows Forms applications.
ComponentOne Preview(TM) for .NET: a completely re-engineered version of Preview for .NET that adds sophisticated printing and print preview capabilities to Windows Forms applications. This new version features an enhanced object model, a more robust and modular design, improved performance, and more.
ComponentOne WebMenus and WebBars(TM) for ASP.NET: a new version of the existing suite of user-interface and navigational tools. This new version adds new C1WebTreeView and C1WebTabStrip components, functionality not available in-the-box with Visual Studio 2005, plus other enhancements improving the design-time experience.
