Bethesda, MD, February 23, 2004 OKYZ Inc. announced today the immediate availability of Raider3D for Manufacturing. Raider3D for Manufacturing enables new types of simple, light and spontaneous 3D-based collaboration and publishing and delivers significant ROI benefits to the manufacturing industry through the entire PLM lifecycle. Raider3D for Manufacturing has been designed to provide maximum value to large manufacturing enterprises with globally distributed offices and supply chains. Raider3D for Manufacturing is deployable alongside any existing 3D CAD/CAM/CAE or PLM applications and consists of four modules providing the following capabilities:
o Raider3D Capture: Instantaneous creation, compression, markup and emailing of 3D snapshots from any OpenGL-based software
o Raider3D Live: Real time web-based multi-user 3D collaboration
o Raider3D Publish: Easy insertion of live 3D models into MS PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Web pages
o Raider3D Viewer: Free cross-platform viewing of 3D snapshots created with Raider3D
Raider3D is the only 3D collaboration solution that works with any 3D application including CATIA V4N5, Pro/Engineer, Unigraphics, VisView, I-DEAS, Solid Edge, SolidWorks, Inventor, AutoCAD, Rhino, 3ds MAX/VIZ, Ansys Workbench, Abaqus CAE, Pam-crash, Patran/Nastran and FEMAP. The Raider3D technology is available on Windows, Linux and UNIX (SUN, SGI, HP, IBM).
