(June 14, 2004) - CrownPeak Technology (www.crownpeak.com) today introduced Advantage ES(TM), an Extended Suite of developer tools and customization capabilities, enabling CrownPeak's On Demand content management solution to compete on even footing with installed applications. The culmination of more than a year of concentrated software development, Advantage ES offers solution developers the ability to build and customize integrated content management applications - without installing software or purchasing any hardware.
Advantage ES consists of a new range of developer tools, a greatly expanded API, a full suite of gateway interfaces with sophisticated configuration tools, and a complete set of pre-configured customizations for applications like extranets, intranets, workflow engines, document and/or asset catalogues, e-commerce systems and more. In addition, CrownPeak is announcing support for development in external platforms and connections directly into the CrownPeak application suite via Web Services (SOAP). Clients and system integrators can now integrate their own applications seamlessly with CrownPeak, as well as configure the CrownPeak environment to suit their needs. The first major platform supported in this program is Microsoft's .NET.
Developers using the Advantage ES solution can begin the development process immediately with a powerful content management platform, complete with a fully documented and supported publishing engine, workflow engine, database back-end and fully-realized user interface. The development environment supports the full customization and implementation of unique business requirements for the application at hand.
