ENOVIA LifeCycle Applications V5.13 Enhances Integration with Virtual Product Manager Functions and Improves Interoperability
Overview
ENOVIA LifeCycle Applications (LCA) V5.13 delivers the ideal Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) environment inside CATIA V5.
Virtual Product Development Management (VPDM) capabilities
have been embedded inside the CATIA environment with the new
generation of ENOVIA V5 VPM solution. Other highlights include
integration with Microsoft(TM) Project, a completely revised SAP adapter, and a new Web-based workflow buildtime.
o New generation of ENOVIA V5 VPM solution provides unified
access to both design and VPDM functions inside CATIA environment, delivering substantial improvement in usability and productivity for design engineers. It is a powerful new enabler for large scale deployments of ENOVIA and CATIA V5 and provides unprecedented relational design process coverage.
Three new products are introduced in V5.13:
- VPM Navigator
- VPM Relational
- Design VPM Configured
Product Design
o Greatly expanded CATIA application data coverage now supports design tables, assembly design templates, analysis documents in exploded mode, and the update status of assembly drawings.
o Integration with Microsoft Projectb plug-in enables project leaders to stay up-to-date on critical project status.
o New Web-based Workflow Definition product allows for
easier workflow process definition.
o The completely revised interoperability with SAP features
advanced attribute mapping, bidirectional synchronization, and
life cycle event-driven push.
o New vault server administration product provides vault
administration tools common to both ENOVIA LCA and ENOVIAVPM.
