veCLIENT(TM) 3.0 and veGATEWAY(TM) 6.0 Release Offer Less Than 1 Second Mobile Speech Search Access to Content, Providing the Fastest and Easiest Multimodal User Experience for Wireless Data Services

V-ENABLE Management to Demonstrate and Present at SpeechTek

SAN DIEGO, Jan. 31 / -- V-ENABLE, the worldwide leader in delivering mobile speech search technology for accessing content and applications, today announced the release of veCLIENT 3.0 and veGATEWAY 6.0 with turnaround times that break the "sub-second" latency barrier on standard 3G networks (EV-DO and UMTS/HSDPA).

This marks a milestone in the performance race as a distributed client-server solution now rivals the more costly and resource hungry embedded mobile device implementations. Like prior versions, the veCLIENT 3.0 has an extremely small footprint and is fully compatible with mobile platforms such as JAVA, BREW, SYMBIAN and other popular mobile operating systems. Unlike embedded solutions, veCLIENT is not a memory, processor or resource hungry application and presents no mobile device constraints. Additionally, V-ENABLE's end-to-end solution powers directed searches in excess of millions of keywords with the ability to universally update databases instantly and includes a robust toolset of reporting interfaces.

The V-ENABLE solution, on 3G networks (EV-DO and UMTS), is the fastest in the industry by a significant margin. With an average sub 1-second turnaround time for 3G networks, V-ENABLE's new speech search platform makes the end-user interface more than ten times faster than using a tree-structured mobile content catalogue and tap-text input.

The first implementation will be initially available on V-ENABLE's Brew based veCLIENT with follow-on versions available on UIONE, JAVA, SYMBIAN and Windows Mobile by the end of the first quarter.

"Sub-second turn around times of our latest product rival any embedded, distributed or network implementations in the marketplace. As our patented multimodal interfaces find their way into mobile browsers, consumer applications and carrier platforms; consumers will have the fastest and easiest way to access and navigate mobile content, thus accelerating adoption of mobile data", says Founder/CTO Dipanshu "D" Sharma.

V-ENABLE Management Presenting at SpeechTek
While others may talk about multimodal mobile clients V-ENABLE announced today that Sunil Kumar, Vice President of Technology will be presenting and demonstrating V-ENABLE's commercially available multimodal technology at SpeechTek West 2006 in San Francisco at the Hyatt Regency.

In Mr. Kumar's presentation, titled "Multimodal Speech Solutions for a Mobile Workforce," he will discuss how V-ENABLE's technology improves the performance, experience and capabilities of mobile applications. In another session, Collin Holmes, director of product management, will present at a panel track on "Mobility and Speech: Freeing the User".

"Speech search solutions will drive improved value propositions for wireless application by delivering a more personalized, natural and satisfying user experience", stated Craig Hagopian, President, V-ENABLE. "And, we continue to take an industry leadership role to bringing the most user friendly, fast and profitable solutions to the market."
