Enhanced Lexmark Document Solutions Suite Provides Comprehensive Server and Printer-based Electronic Forms

- Easy-to-use, flexible software helps businesses of all sizes create electronic forms

LEXINGTON, Ky., Jan. 24 - Lexmark International, Inc. (NYSE:LXK) today announced the Lexmark Document Solutions Suite 3.3. This improved software suite offers customers the flexibility and choice of printer-based electronic forms in addition to server-based forms. Businesses of all sizes -- from a small retail outlet to a global manufacturing company -- can easily tailor this powerful tool to increase their productivity and efficiency.

"Our customers have relied on us for years to streamline their electronic forms operations," said Paul Rooke, Lexmark executive vice president and president of its Printing Solutions and Service Division. "We're continuing to add value by analyzing our customers' current processes, developing innovative solutions and integrating them into the customer's environment."

Lexmark's electronic forms solutions start with the ability to create attractive, functional forms in monochrome or full color. Electronic forms such as pharmacy prescriptions, shipping labels or purchasing invoices can then be seamlessly delivered to a Lexmark forms server or to a printer to be merged with the customer's specific data. Customers are able to send business application data from almost any host system directly to the Lexmark forms server or printer, providing compatibility with their mission-critical systems.

The new Lexmark Forms Card, a key feature of the Lexmark Document Solutions Suite, allows data and forms to merge within Lexmark printers and MFPs. This device-based merge is especially convenient for businesses with low bandwidth networks that transmit to remote sites.
