Round Three for the PdfGrabber!

BREMEN, Germany, February 13/ -- PdfGrabber from PixelPlanet converts PDF documents into common file formats. PixelPlanet has now launched the latest version of this product line. The new version offers additional output formats and comes with a PDF printer.

It is difficult to imagine life today without PDF documents. They are in abundance on the Internet and data carriers. One of the disadvantages of this file format is that the contents of such documents cannot be edited without special tools. PixelPlanet came up with a solution to this problem a number of years ago: the PdfGrabber software. This product exports PDF files into the following formats - Word/RTF, Excel, Text (ASCII), DXF (AutoCAD), XML - as well as enabling images to be exported. The latest version, 3.0, now also allows content to be exported into PowerPoint format and the conversion of entire PDF pages into images. The Excel feature, too, has been improved and can now be used to export various PDF pages together into an Excel spreadsheet. By means of text recognition (OCR), together with Microsoft Office 2003, this new version facilitates the export of text from scanned documents.

In addition, PdfGrabber 3.0 also comes with a PDF printer with which exported documents can be converted back into PDF format. This makes it possible to export the required PDFs, carry out the necessary changes and then save the file again as a PDF. PDF documents can be created from any Windows application by clicking on "Print".
