CAMBRIDGE, MA, USA - October 26, 2006- SYWARE, Inc., a leading developer of mobile database development tools for business and personal productivity, today announced the world wide release of Visual CE 10, a major new release of its award winning mobile database development tool. The new release significantly extends the capabilities of Visual CE and its drag-and-drop desktop development environment, which enables both business professionals and developers to easily create Windows Mobile based applications with little or no programming.
Increased Control
Released in conjunction with Visual CE 10 is Manage CE(TM). Manage CE allows an administrator to configure and reconfigure remote devices from a central site. This allows new or updated applications and other files to be distributed to users without their returning to the office or having to do anything at all except perform routine synchronization. In addition, when a device is lost or stolen, an administrator can remotely purge applications and files from the device, keeping sensitive data secure.
Increased Power
Visual CE 10 includes a macro editor. The macro editor allows even non-programmers to add sophisticated logic to their applications by guiding them through the process of creating well-structured, well-documented macros. Macros can now be totally behind the scenes, kept tidy and unobtrusive, yet still easily viewed, called and edited.

In addition, Visual CE 10 includes a wide range of new functionality, such as:
o Support for the Windows CE Universal Camera API

Visual CE 10 applications can be created for any Microsoft Windows Mobile, Windows CE, Pocket PC, or Pocket PC Phone Edition handheld. Visual CE Personal Edition, with full forms design, relational database, and synchronization capabilities, is priced at $129. Visual CE Professional Edition, which includes all the features of the Personal Edition as well as royalty-free distribution rights, is priced at $399.
