Original Press Release:

CATIA V5.14 Brings Teams Together for Innovation

Overview
Product, process, resources: CATIA V5.14 widens the scope of Virtual Product Modeling (VPM) by extending the capabilities of the VPM Navigator with powerful product impact evaluation and new virtual 3D representation for enhanced navigation through the configured product. It encourages design engineers to share engineering intent and CATIA technological information within the ENOVIA Engineering Hubs.

Collaborative workspaces: CATIA V5.14 broadens collaborative
engineering for the extended enterprise. It extends the scalable
suite of products supporting collaboration with capabilities
ranging from collaborative review to a new way for teams to conduct rapid product design. The new CATIA - Instant Collaborative Design product enables designers to informally work together on the same design, either in real-time or in an asynchronous mode. CATIA V5.14 reinforces co-development across the supply chain with advanced capabilities for engineering package exchange and reconciliation.

Knowledge: CATIA V5.14 bolsters the revolutionary CATIA - Functional Molded Part product, enabling cast parts modeling for the automotive and Finance and Accounting (F&A) industries. CATIA V5.14 enables structural analysis optimization, improving insightful decision support and product quality.

Process centric: CATIA V5.14 delivers modeling breakthroughs to
unleash product innovation. Industrial designers can now
embrace styling creation at the speed of their imagination, thanks to the new CATIA - Imagine & Shape product.

CATIA V5.14 further strengthens industry-specific processes, a result of working in partnership with industry leaders.
o It enriches the design-to-simulation solution for composites parts.
o It extends the machining solution with multi-cavity parts
manufacturing and multi-slide lathe machine programming.
o It strengthens the electrical harness CATIA-DELMIA design-to-manufacturing solution by enabling the simulation of electrical systems installation.

CATIA V5.14 speeds deployment of entry Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solutions for small and medium businesses by reinforcing the SMARTEAM - CATIA Xtended Integration product.

CAA V5: Lattice Technology joins the CAA V5 Software Community
Program (SCP) to provide a suite of next-generation technical publication applications enhanced with a comprehensive 3D XML open and lightweight format.
