To meet this need, new process templates in LANDesk Process Manager 3.0 help organizations define and follow processes for software distribution, operating system imaging, configuration management, security and patch management, vulnerability scanning and remediation, server management, software license monitoring, asset and inventory management, and endpoint security management.

Additional new capabilities in LANDesk Process Manager 3.0 include interactive process support for mobile devices including Blackberry® and smart phones, and numerous new process templates to more effectively manage change -- including time intensive projects like new operating system deployment such as the upcoming Windows Vista(TM). The new solution also includes dynamic forms for streamlined approvals and more automated process completion as well as tighter integration to standards-based Web services.

Pricing begins at a manufacturer's suggested retail price (MSRP) of $35,000 (USD) for any organization under 1,000 employees, increasing to an MSRP of $190,000 (USD) for any enterprise with more than 10,000 employees. This pricing includes limited initial professional services to help customers get started developing and building processes.
