Overview
IBM WebSphere® Business Integration Server is the IBM business integration solution for process integration, workforce management, and enterprise application connectivity.
In V4.2.2, IBM:
oEnhances in-flight message transformation and routing with IBM WebSphere Business Integration Message Broker V5.
oUpgrades IBM WebSphere InterChange Server to V4.2.2 with IBM Java(TM) Object Request Broker technology for all supported platforms replacing Borland VisiBroker.
oEnables business process event activity in the InterChange Server to be tracked externally with the IBM WebSphere Business Integration Monitor product.
oEnhances InterChange Server performance with an IBM Java Runtime Environment (JRE) for the Windows(TM) 2000 platform. Windows NT(TM) is withdrawn as a supported platform in this release.
oEnhances IBM WebSphere Business Integration Toolset V4.2.2 support for debugging of business process collaborations and adds a Server View management capability to System Manager. Windows XP support is enhanced.
oUpgrades IBM WebSphere Business Integration Adapter components to V2.4 to support InterChange Server and Message Broker components.
oEnables Support Pack 3 for IBM WebSphere MQ Workflow V3.4 which completes Oracle 9i Rel2 support for the HP-UX platform.
