RiskWatch Announces New Assessment Software for Nuclear Power Plants



ANNAPOLIS, Md., Sept. 18 -- RiskWatch, Inc. announced today that it has been working under contract with the Technical Support Working Group of the U.S. Department of Defense, and the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission, to create a special version of the RiskWatch software to assess the Cybersecurity of systems. The Nuclear Energy Institute has been a content contributor to the development effort. The unique software program will be released to specific industry organizations in October, 2006. The RiskWatch for Nuclear Power includes the new Nuclear Energy Institute guidelines contained in the NEI 04-04 Revision 1; "Cyber Security Program for Nuclear Power Reactors."
